On the "Packages" window you can see the application and the configuration packages added to the console (the packages that are on the console may not be on the clients):
"Applications" and "Configuration" sections have the following information about the packages:
Identifier
Version
Name
Installation list: Installation files of the package (files that are downloaded when the package is installed)
Uninstallation list: Files to erase when the package is uninstalled
Configuration files (only for configuration packages)

On the left side of the window you can see:

A collection is a group of packages to install on the mobile unit/s. All the available collections are displayed on "Collection" window:
Each collection has the following information:

Formula (for further information about formulas see Add, delete, edit formulas)

On the left side of the window you can see:

On "Units" window you can see all the mobile units that have connected at least once:
Each mobile unit has the following information (see Appendix A.- Files and folders):
[Unit Description]: This field shows the MAC address of the unit. You can modify it with the WireLess Deployer Console and input a unit description (see Sorting Mobile Units according to an Arbitrary Criteria).
Package List:
- Last packages or
- All the installed packages, even if they have been removed
This information is shown when expanding a unit.
[Update]
status:
- Needed (red)
- Up to date (green)
- Pending (yellow, waiting for the mobile unit to answer to UPDATE command)
[MAC]: MAC address.
[IP]: current IP address of the unit.
[UID]: unit identification, assigned at installation.
[Platform]: platform (Operating System type).
[Model]: unit model.
[Last
Update]: time and date of the last update (see [Update]
for color referece)
- on YY/MM/DD - hh:mm:ss format if the update wasn't made the current
day.
- on ss" (seconds) format if the update was made the current minute.
- on mm' (minutes) format if the update was made the current hour.
- on hh:mm (hours/minutes) format if the update was made the
current day.
[Last
List]: date and time of the last information retrieve and connection
status:
- green, if the unit
has been recently connected and answered to LIST command.
- yellow, if the unit hasn't answered but the time elapsed is under ListMissingTime (see
configuration file).
- red, if the unit hasn't answered and the time elapsed is over
ListMissingTime
(missed unit). (See configuration file).
The time and date of the last connection can be on different formats: YY/MM/DD
- hh:mm:ss, ss", mm' ou hh:mm (see [Last
Update]).
[HOSTNAME] : hostname configured on the mobile unit.
Each column may be used as a sorting criteria by clicking on it's name. If the mobile units are sorted using one criteria and then another one is selected, the previous order is maintained as a secondary criteria. This is useful for finding a group of mobile units with similar characteristics (see Sorting Mobile Units according to an Arbitrary Criteria).
On the top of the window there's:
Get Information section:
Gets information about the packages installed
- on all the mobile units ([GET ALL MU] button) or
- on one unit ([GET THIS MU] button)
Update Unit section:
Updates packages on
- all the mobile units ([UPDATE ALL] button) or
- on one
unit ([UPDATE THIS] button).
unit command buttons:
- [Execute Action] button:
Allows to execute
files, erase them, make coldboot, and warmboot, among other actions
(see Execute actions on the mobile
unit).
- [Remote Control] button:
Opens "Remote
Control" window, which allows to control the mobile units from
the console (see Control a mobile unit by Remote
Control)
- [Reset Unit] button:
Deletes the package list
of a mobile unit (just deletes the list, it DOESN'T UNINSTALL
the packages)
Text Messages section:
Allows to
send text messages
- to all the mobile units ([SEND TO ALL] button) or
- to one
unit ([SEND TO THIS] button)
[Sites / Groups] section:
Allows to work with groups of units (groups and sites).
- [By Group] check-box: Allows to see all units or by group (just
the units that belong to the selected group).
- [Sites/ Groups] button: Opens the "Groups & Sites Management"
window (see Site management and Group
management).
- [Associate] button: Opens the window that allows to associate
the selected unit to a group.
- the group combo-box that allows to change the current group.
diverse tasks buttons:
- [Package Details] button:
Allows to see more
information about a package.
- [History] button: Shows the history of the actions
performed on the selected mobile unit.
- [Remove Unit] button: Allows to remove a unit from the system.
- [Create Dummy Unit] button:
Opens a window
that allows to create a dummy unit (see Create
a Dummy
Unit).
